Off-Road Bikes |
||
|
We are seeing an increase in the use of off-road bikes in public spaces, including parks, footpaths, and residential areas. While these vehicles can be used responsibly on private land with permission, their use in public areas is often illegal and can pose a serious risk to the safety of pedestrians, cyclists, and other road users.
Off-road bikes are frequently ridden without insurance, registration, or appropriate safety equipment. They can cause damage to green spaces, create noise nuisance, and in some cases are linked to wider anti-social behaviour and criminal activity.
We are asking for the support of our community:
You can report incidents by calling 101, or 999 in an emergency if there is an immediate risk to safety. Information can also be shared anonymously via Crimestoppers. Your reports help us build intelligence, identify offenders, and take appropriate action, including vehicle seizures. Working together, we can help keep our communities safe and protect our shared spaces. kind regards stay safe
